Saint Joseph’s Villa in David City, NE is actively seeking a knowledgeable, experienced MDS/RAI Coordinator candidate. The MDS / RAI Coordinator plays an integral role in helping our guests reach their therapy and transition goals.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for patient's admission and the coordination of care through the transition process.
• Responsible for compliance of Federal, State and Medicare regulations and guidelines
• Fiscally responsible for the effective management of each post-acute patient and the appropriate completion of the RAI/MDS process
• Provides billing dept. with all the HIPPS codes and ensures all patients have appropriate diagnosis codes for billing facilitates the completion of the Omnibus Reconciliation Act (OBRA) and Prospective Payment System (PPS) assessments

Requirements:

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Nebraska or Compact State
• At least 1 year experience in an MDS/RAI position in a skilled nursing facility or Post-Acute environment
• At least two years' experience in performing nursing duties within an acute or poste acute facility
• Experience in the completion of the RAI process and implementation of Medicare regulations and guidelines
• RAC-CT preferred but willing to train the right individual

Applicants must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska.
