Position Summary:

The PACU/POHA Clinical Coordinator is a registered nurse that works under the direct supervision of the Surgical Services Director.  The Clinical Coordinator of PACU/POHA will supervise the PACU and POHA staff, both professional and non-professional personnel on a daily basis, ensuring that productive, cost effective, quality patient care is delivered.  Will be able to anticipate the needs of the PACU and POHA and provide the required support while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for the Patients, Staff, Anesthesia and Surgeons.


Qualifications:

Requires Current California Registered Nurse license.

Current American Heart Association BCLS certification, CPAC certification.

Current American Heart Association  ACLS certification.

Basic Arrhythmia Course Certificate.


Prefer Minimum four years operating room experience with one year in an operating room management or charge position. 

 

Requires Leadership experience, with strong written and verbal communication and computer skills. 

Demonstrated organizational, planning, leadership and coaching skills. 

Ability to develop and foster team work among co-workers, Anesthesiologist, and Surgeons.
