Location:
Casper, WY
Shift Schedule: Night Shift

  • Monday – Thursday: 4:45 PM – 3:15 AM
  • Friday & Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
    Pay Rate: 35.90/hour 

Position Overview: Adecco is currently assisting a local client seeking a skilled Night Shift Welding Lead to supervise and support a team of up to 52 welders during night shifts at our Casper, WY location. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality work, guiding welders, troubleshooting issues, and preparing the team for new tasks. The Lead reports directly to the shift supervisor and primarily leads while occasionally performing welding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct up to 52 welders to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Assist with technical challenges and prepare welders for upcoming projects.
  • Work closely with the shift supervisor to maintain smooth operations and address any workflow issues.
  • Lead by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Perform welding tasks as needed (approximately 10% of the time).

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of solid structural welding experience with proven leadership abilities.
  • Welding Skills: Proficiency in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
  • Leadership Experience: Previous lead experience preferred; strong leadership qualities required.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in reading welding plans and performing related calculations (circumference, decimals, fractions).
  • Education: Welding school background preferred but not required; substantial experience and skill demonstration are essential.
  • Attributes: Professionalism, integrity, excellent communication skills, and team motivation capabilities.


Pay Details: 35.90 per hour
