About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding metal components together to fabricate or repair products, such as machine parts, pressure vessels, and pipelines. You will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and brass, and use various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Your work will be critical to ensuring the safety and reliability of our products.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship
- Certification in welding techniques
- Experience in welding metal components using various techniques
- DRIVERS LICENSE
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in welding pressure vessels and pipelines
- Experience in welding aluminum and brass
- Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and codes
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Set up and operate welding equipment and tools
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to detect flaws
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition
Skills:
As a Welder, you will use your expertise in welding techniques and materials to fabricate and repair metal products. You will need to be proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, as well as setting up and operating welding equipment and tools. Attention to detail and the ability to detect flaws in welded surfaces and structures are essential. Additionally, you will need to maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition to ensure optimal performance.
