Qualifications
SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES
1. Complies with department rules, policies and procedures, maintaining and supporting a safe and encouraging work environment.
2. Responsible for the preparation of the business and will assist with the cleanliness/readiness of the area.
3. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization within the restaurant, lounge and server stations Collects a bank prepared for them at satellite ensuring that the amount is correct and is transported to their workstation.
4. Assures opening and/or closing check lists are completed.
5. Provide a level of service that makes guests feel welcomed and appreciated.
6. When required, utilize the dining room reservation system to manage traffic flow and server station balance of guests.
7. Ensure that all guest requests are entered into the Point of Sales system correctly.
8. Effectively rings in all orders and collects the correct amount of money or any other form of payment from the customer.
9. Will check with guests during their stay that the dining experience exceeds the customer's expectations. Reporting to leadership any positive comments or concerns
10. Prepares all menus and menu boards for each business day and makes changes accordingly.
11. Will assist the Food Servers when needed.
12. Will assist with other duties as requested by the Managers and Supervisors.
13. May be required to assist in other departments when necessary or for training.
14. Maintains TIPS certified and practice this knowledge on a daily basis.
PREREQUISITES
General: Must be age 18 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Non gaming license.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the work place.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a food preparation.
Physical: Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to four hours in length. Must have the ability to lift pots, pans and other items up to 50 pounds. Requires normal vision, including color acuity and depth perception, reaching, bending, stooping, grasping, finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination. Must be able to perform safely and effectively in conditions of wet floors and temperature extremes.
