Purpose:
As a Delivery Ambassador with Edible, you will deliver sweet and delightful products to customers with efficiency and care! You have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our customers' day by ensuring that their delivery is on time and in great condition, leaving recipients delighted with their Edible experience.
This position will be based out of the Edible Store in Boise, ID.

SEASONAL DETAILS:
- Contract 1099 Delivery Driver
- Seasonal support for the Holiday busy season. Busiest between December 17th - December 24th, open availability preferred but can discuss
- Part-time hours
- Opportunity for a permanent offer after the seasonal season if roles are open
- Opportunity to come back for seasonal support during Valentine's Day and Mother's Day as well
What that looks like day to day:
- Delivers Edible products to customers in an efficient, courteous, accurate and timely manner
- Exhibits exceptional customer service to recipients and delivers a WOW experience
- Gathers and organizes delivery tickets by area
- Logs tickets in the computer system
- Organizes most efficient delivery routes
- Loads product in the delivery vehicle in a manner suitable for safe transport
- Responsible for vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and general care of vehicle
- Drives delivery vehicles in a safe manner consistent with store policies and procedures
- Assists with food production tasks and other duties, as needed to support the team
Required experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Current, Valid State Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Knowledge of driving and transportation laws for the state of vehicle operation.
- Ability to provide proof of auto vehicle insurance
- Must have a smartphone with the willingness to download mobile applications to enable deliveries & delivery tracking
- Must possess geographical knowledge of the service area
- Experience as a “Courier Drivers” is preferred
- Frequent lifting, carrying, and/or pushing objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must have physical capabilities to operate a reliable vehicle
- Must be able to sit and drive for long periods, up to 85% of the work shift
- Ability to follow directions, read maps, and independently arrive at locations.
- Ability to take responsibility for learning all aspects of the position.
- Ability to consistently show up to work on time and reliably work assigned shifts.
- Ability to apply constructive feedback from supervisors and/or managers.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude when faced with challenges and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
