What You’ll Do: Oversee Daily Operations: Plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks to ensure all warehouse activities run efficiently, meeting daily operational goals and deadlines. Lead and Develop Team: Supervise warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and feedback to foster a productive and positive work environment. Address any performance or process issues with a constructive, solution-focused approach. Manage Receiving and Shipping: Oversee the receipt, unloading, and verification of incoming shipments, ensuring that materials are safely and accurately processed. Coordinate the preparation and loading of outbound shipments to meet customer delivery schedules. Ensure Quality Standards: Perform quality checks on orders and shipments to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with company standards before products leave the warehouse. Utilize Technology for Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using electronic hardware, RF units, and warehouse management software. Ensure all inventory data is up to date, supporting efficient stock control. Operate and Oversee Equipment Usage: Safely operate and train team members on the use of forklifts and pickers. Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols to ensure a secure and efficient working environment. Foster Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a key point of contact between warehouse staff, internal teams, and external carriers. Facilitate clear and proactive communication to support smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise. Promote Safety and Cleanliness: Lead by example in upholding safety standards and cleanliness protocols, ensuring the warehouse remains organized and hazard-free. Adapt and Lead through Change: Stay flexible and open to taking on new responsibilities as operational needs evolve. Lead your team in adapting to changes, maintaining high morale, and ensuring a seamless workflow. What We’re Looking For: Supervisory Experience: Minimum of one year in a warehouse or logistics environment, with demonstrated experience managing and mentoring a team. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in warehouse management systems, RF units, and Microsoft Windows. Certified or experienced in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Leadership and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners. Problem-Solving and Adaptability: A proactive, solution-focused approach to managing challenges. Able to assess situations quickly and adapt to shifting priorities. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving, and operating equipment, while following proper safety techniques. Physical Demands: In this role, you’ll regularly engage in physical activities such as walking, standing, lifting, and moving products weighing up to 100 pounds.
