We’re looking for a skilled, proactive Project Assurance Technician to support Pella of Utah’s installation projects. This role is integral to delivering excellence from project start to finish. What You’ll Do: Ensure Optimal Installation: Evaluate and recommend installation methods tailored to each project, accounting for home structure, materials, and any unique challenges. You’ll conduct thorough assessments, including structural modifications and scaffolding requirements, to ensure seamless installations. Conduct Accurate Order Verification: Your accurate measurements and order verifications on the front end will set the project up for success, minimizing issues and enhancing customer satisfaction. Identify and Address Project Challenges Early: Proactively identify potential obstacles, allowing for effective planning and execution without delays or unexpected issues. Produce Clear Documentation: Generate precise job notes, JSA (Job Spec & Analysis) forms, and other documentation, ensuring that project managers and other team members have the information needed to price and execute each job accurately. Quality Control and Inspections: Oversee the quality and workmanship of installations, ensuring each project meets Pella’s high standards and customer expectations. Enhance Communication and Set Realistic Expectations: Keep customers and internal stakeholders informed, setting clear expectations and fostering a positive experience from start to finish. Continuously Improve and Stay Informed: Develop your knowledge of Pella’s installation methods and industry best practices, keeping up with the latest advancements to deliver exceptional service. Promote a Positive Customer Experience: Strive to maintain a high net promoter score, reflecting Pella’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. What We’re Looking For: Relevant Experience: Strong background in construction applications, particularly in windows and doors, and knowledge of local permit and building requirements (including lead). Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for diplomacy in customer interactions, especially in challenging situations. Analytical and Mathematical Aptitude: Capable of interpreting technical instructions, performing complex measurements, and calculating areas, proportions, and other relevant metrics. Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to solve practical, on-the-job challenges independently, using sound judgment and a proactive approach. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and quick to learn Pella’s proprietary systems (like Pronto Forms). Physical Demands: While performing duties, you’ll regularly stand, walk, climb ladders, and work on-site with occasional stooping or lifting of up to 50 pounds.
