Position Summary:
M&M Quality Grinding is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Inventory/Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our raw material inventory process. The role will be primarily shop-focused (75%) with some office duties (25%). The ideal candidate is comfortable operating a forklift, moving material within the facility, issuing materials to jobs, and ensuring accurate data entry in our system.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse/inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification and/or experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and experience with inventory management software.
- Ability to direct and manage warehouse personnel effectively.
- Physical ability to lift/move materials as needed.
- Basic computer skills for office-related tasks
Primary Responsibilities:
- Load and unload bars into the machine.
- Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products within the warehouse.
- Issue materials to production jobs based on work orders.
- Direct and manage material handlers as needed, coordinating with and supporting production supervisors.
- Track, receive, and maintain inventory records accurately.
- Enter and update data related to inventory transactions in the system.
- Assist in managing stock levels and coordinating production to meet material demands.
- Ensure that the warehouse is organized, clean, and follows safety regulations.
- Collaborate with office personnel to maintain smooth operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to walk, stand, sit and use their hands to finger, handle, or feel parts. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Ear protection may be required for certain processes. Closed-toed shoes and eye protection are required for all activity on the shop floor.
