Spartan Placements, LLC is hiring: Tax Supervisor in Jericho

Currently, we are in search of a Tax Supervisor for our New York office.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Preparation and Review of Corporate and Partnership Tax returns including multi-state filings

Complex Business income Tax Returns with multiple K1s

Sophisticated corporate client tax preparation, projections and planning

Preparation and Review of corporate and partnership tax returns

Preparation of quarterly tax projections, estimated taxes and extensions and Tax research

Respond to tax notices and assist with tax audits

Ability to research tax issues and apply practical tax analysis

Prepare detailed work papers

Qualifications:

CPA license, preferred

Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Accounting or Taxation is required

Must have minimum 8 years of experience

Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience

Heavy experience with review

Broad taxation experience

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Extremely organized, can manage time appropriately and work within budget parameters

Well developed work ethic

Maintain a positive atmosphere of the firm

Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a team mentality

Ability to manage all aspects of client work

Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally

CCH Prosystemsfx, BNA income tax planner, online tax research software, quickbooks and MS office required, intermediate to proficient
