Responsibilities
Required technical work in the application of a variety of physical therapeutic treatments to patients. Responsible for assisting in the treatment of physical disabilities, injuries, and diseases through the use of a variety of therapeutic modalities. Work involves the application of a physician's prescription in accordance with standard therapy practice. All work is performed under the direction or supervision of a Licensed Physical Medical and Rehab Clinician and is reviewed through observation of techniques employed and results obtained.
1. Administers treatment in all phases of therapeutic exercises and functional training as directed by licensed therapist.
2. Administers treatment using exercise equipment and mobility devices as instructed by therapist.
3. Administers therapeutic modalities.
4. Assists in observing the reaction of patients and notifying the supervising therapist.
5. Performs delegated part of a treatment plan as directed and Provides the therapist with a description of treatment given and of the patient's progress.
6. Reinforces therapist instructions.
7. Keeps equipment and treatment area clean and follows infection control procedures.
8. May Performs clerical Functions.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- American Heart BLS certification required
