Rewarding Position Working with Children & Adults to Develop Visual Skills -We are seeking a Vision Therapy Technician to work with patients of all ages to develop & rehabilitate visual skills critical for up close tasks like reading, learning, computer and desk work. Paid training is provided. The hourly starting rate after successful completion of our on-site training program is based upon previous experience. The schedule is 30 hours per week at our Columbia and Pikesville locations as follows:

Every Sunday from 8:45 am – 3:00 pm

Monday through Thursday from 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Tuesday & Thursday mornings from 9:00 am – 12:00pm

Fridays and Saturdays off.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Successful completion of our on-site training program required. Working with patients on a 1:1 up to a 2:1 ratio to rehabilitate and improve their visual functioning through the use of various vision therapy equipment and activities. Charting and documentation of patient's performance and completion of progress reports for doctor. Previous experience working with children or with patients in a clinical setting preferred. Good attendance and punctuality are required for this position.
