Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Michigan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing social-emotional support, crisis intervention, and case management for students across a K-12 setting. This role is essential to fostering a safe and inclusive environment, promoting students' overall well-being, and helping them succeed academically and socially.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Setting: K-12, onsite
• Contract Type: W2, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling for students
• Assist in developing and implementing student support plans
• Conduct assessments and provide referrals to community resources
• Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to address students' needs
• Support crisis intervention and maintain confidentiality and ethical practices

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Social Worker in Michigan
• Prior experience working in a school or with children preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
