School Social Worker Needed Twin Cities Area

Soliant Education is seeking a full-time School Social Worker for a position in the Twin Cities area. This is a 40-hour per week role, offering the opportunity to work with K-12 students, providing essential services that address students' emotional, social, and academic well-being.

Job Details:

• Position: School Social Worker
• Location: Twin Cities Area, MN
• Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
• Start Date: ASAP
• Caseload: K-12 students

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to support their social and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to identify student needs and develop intervention plans.
• Address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns that impact students' ability to succeed academically.
• Assist with crisis intervention and provide resources and referrals for additional support services.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of strategies that support students mental health and academic success.
• Maintain strong munication with school staff and families to ensure a supportive environment for students.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid School Social Worker certification in Minnesota.
• Previous experience working in a K-12 setting is preferred.
• Strong munication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Interview Process:

• 10-15 minute screening call with a Soliant Education Recruiter.
• 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District.
• Offer is typically extended within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview.
