Hours of Work: M-F 7am-3:30pm. Some overtime

Job Description/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Experienced worker will assemble, and install wood and metal fixtures using basic hand tools and power tools.
Study blueprints and drawings to determine the dimensions of material to be produced
Measure materials or distances, using square, measuring tape, or ruler to lay out work.
Cut or saw boards, timbers, or plywood to required size, using handsaw, power saw, or woodworking machine.
Mark cutting lines on materials, using pencil and scriber.
Anchor and brace forms and other structures in place, using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, planks, wedges, and timbers.
Assemble and fasten material together to install floor decking and walls
Follow and implement safety and quality control protocols

This position requires repetitive lifting more than 50 pounds, bending, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long hours. This position requires using hands and arms repetitively in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials. Must pass criminal background check and drug screen test.

Preferred Qualifications:

6 months minimum experience needed and High school Diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of carpentry skills such as framing, drywall, siding, etc a plus. Knowledge of flooring and door installation a plus
Ability to communicate in English required
Strong math and tape measure skills are required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with little supervision is required.
