Cleveland Park Animal Hospital Simpsonville is seeking a Kennel Attendant to join our team! Our team members are responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals staying at our facility. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves animals and can provide high-quality, compassionate pet care for our clients. We aim to provide a fun, safe, and clean space for pets to stay while their owners are away.

Responsibilities:

• Handle general care tasks such as walking dogs, feeding animals, cleaning cages and medication administration
• Follow a regular schedule for cleaning and sanitizing all cages, runs and related areas; change litter boxes
• Assist in restraining and bathing animals
• Recognize and report any unusual condition or change in behavior
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in animal handling or kennel care preferred
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Candidates must be at least 16 years of age
