We are seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join our team in the Financial Services industry, located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, 08003, United States. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity where you will be tasked with assisting in auditing and processing reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with auditing files to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Process reconciliations accurately and efficiently
• Utilize spreadsheet software to maintain and update financial records
• Monitor and update customer accounts as necessary
• Resolve any discrepancies found in auditing and reconciliation processes.• Applicant should have at least 1 year of experience in the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required to manage and analyze financial data.
• Experience in bank reconciliations is mandatory to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is necessary.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and draw conclusions.
• Excellent attention to detail to maintain accurate and complete financial records.
• Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Applicant should be a team player, willing to collaborate with various departments.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information is required.
• Applicant must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
