Utilization Review Discharge Planner

Jefferson Healthcare is currently seeking a temporary Utilization Review RN to join our Case Management Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and conducting reviews related to risk, quality, compliance, and utilization management. The position requires the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information concerning the performance of primary care providers, nurses, ancillary, and support staff in delivering medically appropriate care. You will be expected to develop and maintain a system for the utilization review of incoming patients, as well as implement audits for concurrent reviews of utilization, quality, and the related performance of patient care staff. Additionally, you will perform professional activities related to Risk, Quality, Compliance Management, and Utilization Management (QM/UM).

What you'll need:
- Current Washington State RN license in good standing
- Current AHA BLS/CPR (for Healthcare Providers) required
- Two years of experience in a hospital/clinical environment preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
