Will be working in the production and packaging department making food products for a company in Tempe, Az Position Summary:
Food manufacturing facility looking for a hardworking Sanitation Lead. In this role, you will disinfect surfaces, sanitize all components of our food production and processing equipment, and ensure that there is no unnecessary waste along the assembly line. You will also clean the floors, ensure that the building ventilation is clean and working correctly, and refill sanitary products and soap in the bathrooms. Since we provide consumable products for sale and distribution to the public, we expect you to report any potential contamination issues.
Responsibilities: Use approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble food processing equipment Dispose of waste along the assembly line Sweep and mop the floors Dust ventilation ducts to ensure proper airflow Refill soap and hand towels in the bathrooms Report potential issues to management Maintains a clean and organized workstation. Maintains strict housekeeping guidelines and safety practices at all times. Recognize and report any problems, issues, discrepancies, or questions to Process Technician and/or Supervisor in a timely fashion. Fill out and maintain required data on sanitation related forms. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. Must have reliable and consistent attendance as well as be punctual and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization. Other duties to be assigned. Requirements:
1-2 years of prior lead experience in a manufacturing environment Able to support, train and provide guidance to assigned team members Computer literacy required, G-Suite or Slack experience preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments Excellent time management Bilingual required Process improvement mindset Experience and desire to support a culture built on collaboration, sharing of ideas and celebration of successes as well as drive for positive outcomes with cross-functional teams. Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, procedures and SDS (Safety Data Sheets). English preferred. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be a team player, self-motivated and open-minded. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, meet and maintain high quality work standards, and adapt quickly to new projects/assignments. Physical Demands :

Prolonged periods of standing on production floor Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
