Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and program automated equipment to meet customer specifications.
  • Develop and implement safety circuits using safety PLCs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement associated safety devices.
  • Design UL 508-certified control systems.
  • Specify components and document control systems for various types of automated equipment.
  • Perform electrical and pneumatic design, machine PLC programming, machine debugging, and certification for customer run-offs.
  • Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and startup of equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years designing and programming control systems for automated equipment.
  • Education: Associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Expertise in designing and programming systems using pneumatics, hydraulics, and motion control technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of UL 508 certification and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs and related software tools.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time for customer site installations.

Pay Range: 90K-140K Annually
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
