Position Details: * Location: Near Syracuse, Nebraska * Shift Type: Days with after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities * On Call: Nightly and weekend calls required * Availability: October, November, and December * Flexible scheduling: 3-5 days over weekends or up to a full week at a time * Two weeks per month, with possible separation * Hours: * Clinic: 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m. * Call handoff: 8:00 a.m. (weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Job Responsibilities: * Clinical Duties: * Maternal fetal medicine consults in clinic * Reading ultrasounds for MFM and general obstetrics * Supporting inpatient ultrasound consultations * Private delivery patient consultations and nurse-midwife backup (occasional) * Clinic patient load: 15-20 patients/day * Hospital Responsibilities: * Standard maternal fetal medicine procedures in a hospital setting (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum) Requirements: * Board Certified OB/GYN with MFM Subspecialty Required * Active Nebraska License Highly Preferred * OB/GYN Residency & MFM Fellowship Required * Certifications: Active BLS, DEA, NRP Required * Clean Malpractice/Background Highly Preferred * Local candidates (within driving distance) Highly Preferred * Must be available for the dates specified in the job description Compensation and Benefits: * Travel and Lodging: * Air travel, rental cars, and mileage reimbursed according to specific guidelines * Lodging expenses covered, with reimbursement up to 1.5x the standard rate Other Details: * Credentialing timeline: 60-90 days * EMR System: EPIC * Support Staff: On-site ultrasound techs and front desk support This locum tenens position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment providing maternal fetal medicine services to a well-established practice.
