PPT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in Washington, DC with responsibilities for leading our team performing Independent Test Agent services for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Join a dynamic team supporting a high visibility program to build an enterprise data analytics capability by modernizing a cloud-based solution.
Description of Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
In this role you will serve as the lead for contract execution and is responsible for providing direction and management of all Independent Test Agent team activities, ensuring execution is within defined performance, cost, and schedule parameters. Ensure high quality technical documentation deliverables to the customer. Stay knowledgeable on all contract activities and interface directly with the customer contracting officer and program executive leadership.

Description of Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

Stay knowledgeable on all contract activities and interface directly with the customer contracting officer and program executive leadership.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities of the Project Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in the information technology sector, preferably with large scale information technology, cloud-based systems, and testing
- 7 years of experience in a leadership/management position
- In-depth knowledge/expertise in executing the DHS Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC), developing/maintaining Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), and independent operational testing
- Developing schedules, plans and tracking resources
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills, attention to detail, problem solving and excellent customer service skills
- 10% travel may be required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a DHS FEMA Public Trust
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities of the Project Manager:
- PMP certification
- Agile software development team testing experience
- Understanding of cybersecurity resilience requirements
- Microsoft SharePoint, a Technical Document Repository, and Microsoft Project
