Urology Physician

We are working with Penn Highlands DuBois, a Level II Trauma Center in Dubois, PA, seeking Urology coverage starting January 6. Penn Highlands DuBois serves as a central hub for surrounding facilities, including Clearfield, Elk, and Brookville, with a busy inpatient setting and emergency surgical support.

Urology

Job Details:
• Coverage Needed: 1-2 weeks starting January 6
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7a-7a (24-hour weekday coverage)
• Responsibilities:
• Rounding on inpatient cases in the morning
• Emergency surgeries as needed
• Procedures such as kidney stone treatment, possible extraction, holmium laser lithotripsy, and cystoscopy/stent placement for hematuria
• Managing torsion of testicle (rare occurrence) and UTIs
• Consulting with the ED or other providers for Foley catheter placement
• Rounding for any performed procedures if the patient remains in-house
• EMR Systems: GE Centricity (Clinic) and Cerner (Inpatient)
