1st Shift Material Handler

Adecco is looking for material handlers in the Auburn Hills, MI area. Our client in Auburn Hills has a material handling opening at their Auburn Hills, MI location. The ideal candidate needs to have material handling experience, pallet jack history, and other skills related to material handling. The hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday thru Friday, with available OT. After you work a certain number of hours, this client will hire you onto their payroll and benefits. Job title: Material Handler - 1st Shift Job Summary The candidate will work as a Material Handler during the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM from Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime on weekends after training. They will be responsible for stocking materials from receiving areas, managing inventory using FIFO principles, verifying material locations in SAP, and participating in team activities and continuous improvement projects. Skill Requirements Must-Have Requirements: Basic reading, writing and math skills Basic computer and Microsoft application experience Ability to use a variety of tools including box cutters, scanners, pallet jacks Have 2 + years at the same position Skill Education Stockroom: Managing inventory within a storage area. FIFO (First In First Out): Inventory management method where older stock is used before newer stock. SAP: An enterprise resource planning software used for managing business operations. Environmental Health and Safety standards: Guidelines to ensure safe working conditions. Microsoft application experience: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, etc. Box cutters, Scanners, Pallet jacks: Tools commonly used in warehouses for handling materials.
