Informa Connect, a global leader in B2B events and digital content, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Territory Director to drive growth in our Informa Foodservice Connect division. Informa Events is a leading authority in the convenience, restaurant, and foodservice industries, with deep expertise through its acquisition of Winsight Media. Together, we deliver premium events, industry insights, and exceptional networking experiences that set new standards in the foodservice sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Territory Management
  • Manage an established territory, leveraging industry expertise to identify new business opportunities.
  • Build on existing client relationships within the restaurant and foodservice event sector.
  • Use insights from Winsight Media to align territory strategies with industry trends.
Industry Engagement
  • Represent Informa Foodservice at top industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Strengthen brand presence by networking with industry leaders and decision-makers.
  • Promote Informa as a trusted partner through strategic industry partnerships.
Relationship Building
  • Cultivate strong, lasting relationships by understanding clients' unique goals.
  • Leverage industry data to offer valuable, tailored insights to each client.
  • Exceed client expectations by consistently providing innovative solutions.
Revenue Generation
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Drive growth by focusing on high-impact sales initiatives across key foodservice events.
  • Identify upsell opportunities to maximize client value and Informa's market reach.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of successful sales experience in media, sponsorship, or event/conference sales, ideally within the foodservice or related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets through consultative and strategic sales, with a track record of building strong client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the foodservice, convenience store, or restaurant industry, or the ability to quickly adapt to it.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in foodservice events, with the ability to position Informa as a valuable partner to clients.
  • Skilled in prospecting, conducting market research, and developing tailored sales proposals.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills to drive new business and foster client loyalty.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing leads and tracking sales progress.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in creating impactful presentations and reports.
  • Experience with digital marketing or event management tools is a plus.
Further Information:
  • Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 plus uncapped commission.
