GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Administrative Services will oversee all business operations, people and programs of Axess Family Services.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and/or direct program design, implementation and execution of Administrative Departments including Building & Grounds, Maintenance and IT.
- Develop agency goals and objectives, both short-term and long-term.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and efficiencies across departments.
- Develop business plans and strategies.
- Implement best practices to optimize organizational processes.
- Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of leadership staff providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
- Oversee the agency's financial performance, investments and other business ventures.
- Analyze problematic situations and issues and provide solutions to ensure agency growth.
- May serve as a public speaker and/or public relations representative of the agency at the direction of the Executive Director.
- Communicate and maintain trust relationships with community shareholders, business partners and elected officials.
- Reward performance, identify potential problems and resolve issues in collaboration with leadership staff and the Executive Director.
- Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven collaboration skills and the ability to lead a diverse group of non-profit professionals.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrable experience as a Senior Leader or Manager.
- Proven ability to identify, hire, train and mentor leadership staff.
- Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability if applicable.
- Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation) if applicable.
