Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine has an excellent full-time opportunity for a Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist with extensive experience or fellowship training in Breast Imaging to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging located in Maywood, Illinois. Job Description: * Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist with extensive experience or fellowship training in Breast Imaging is required * The candidate who takes this role will have the opportunity to join an experienced breast imaging team at our rapidly growing breast care program in the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. * Our group is committed to provide excellent patient care and high-quality breast imaging, which has led to great relationships with our referring surgeons, oncologists, and primary care providers. * This opportunity will include coordination with breast surgeons, plastic reconstruction surgeons, pathologists, and oncologists with regularly scheduled case conferences. * You will be joined by a highly skilled, credentialed team of technologists, nurses, and radiologists. * Loyola is a premier academic medical center that integrates health-related initiatives: education, research, and patient care. * Practice setting: hospital-based and outpatient * Number of Radiologists in Practice: 6 FTE in breast, 41 FTE in department * Support Staff: mammo techs and dedicated ultrasound tech * Locations for coverage may include Loyola Outpatient Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge, and MacNeal Hospital. * Trauma Level/Designation: Loyola Medical Center (Trauma I), Gottlieb Memorial Hospital (Trauma II) and MacNeal Hospital (Trauma II) * Average Number of Cases Per Day: varies by location, Diagnostics = 15-24/day, Screeners = 40-70/day, Procedures = 2-6/day * Patient Age Demographic: adult * Proficiency in reading digital mammography/tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and interventional skills for all modality biopsy guidance is required. * The breast centers at Loyola Medical Center, Gottlieb Hospital and MacNeal Hospital are equipped with digital mammography/Hologic 3D mammography units, diagnostic US units, ABUS, breast MRI (3T), dedicated biopsy suites for stereotactic (3D) and US-guided biopsies. * Do You Use Teleradiology? No * EMR: Powerscibe with voice recognition for reports. Hologic 2D/3D with high resolution (12megapixel) monitors.
