Join us to make your mark on a fast-growing team, take ownership of innovative projects, and work closely with cross-functional partners to build a product that marketing teams rely on daily.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of instrumentation systems to ensure accurate, timely, and scalable tracking of message delivery, engagement, and campaign effectiveness
  • Lead the team in building and optimizing APIs and SDKs that enable clients to capture user behaviors, conversion events, and attribution data
  • Ensure data availability and accuracy across all analytics layers to support machine learning, product analytics, incident investigations, and financial forecasting needs
  • Design and implement a scalable measurement and reporting infrastructure that supports high data volume, low-latency processing, and efficient retrieval methods
  • Drive the creation of a real-time analytics dashboard that provides end users with intuitive, actionable insights into campaign performance, content engagement, and A/B testing outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize measurement requirements, aligning solutions with broader company objectives and end-user needs
  • Establish and enforce best practices for data instrumentation, testing, and monitoring
  • Mentor and guide the engineering team, fostering growth in technical expertise and aligning team goals with high-impact projects; collaborate with other managers and teams to align efforts

Qualifications:
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team
  • Effectively lead team meetings and presentations that showcase deliverables to the organization
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and adept at identifying root causes and troubleshooting data accuracy
  • Exemplary software development practices; clear, readable, and obvious code using language-specific idiomatic patterns, thoughtful code reviews, and appropriately thorough testing
  • Strong technical skills in programming languages (we use Python and Elixir), API/SDK design, data formats and inter-service communication (we use Protocol Buffers and gRPC), large-scale data processing (we use PySpark and Kafka) and storage (we use Clickhouse and Delta Lake), containerization and cloud platforms (we use Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform), and data warehouse and business intelligence platforms (BigQuery and Looker)
  • Analytical and quantitative skills to interpret and analyze data and metrics
  • Ability to navigate and resolve disputes within the team and possess other negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Have a user-centric mindset, particularly while designing and implementing our APIs and SDKs and ensuring our data is accessible, understable, and actionable in the user-facing reporting interfaces
  • Be adaptable and focus on iterative improvement-both in product and process-to help the team stay responsive to new requirements
  • Collaborate well with various teams, including product analytics, data science, strategy, and finance/operations to align our measurement strategies and data flows with the company's broader goals
