Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environmentThe Role:Define and develop world-class audio systems for Lucid vehicles Responsible for audio component specification & development. eg. microphones, amplifiers & speakers  Responsible for the integration of acoustic components into the vehicleTest speakers, microphones and amplifiers - in-lab and in-vehicleTune and optimize acoustic performances and advanced audio features in vehicleQualifications:3-5 years of experienceExperience in audio transducer design, tuning and integration Understanding of basic audio digital signal processing such as equalizers and limitersExperience in audio or acoustic measurement instruments and equipment - measurement microphones, audio precision, etc.Experience with the factory testing of speakers, microphones and integrated audio systemsUnderstanding of microphone and speaker technologiesPreferred Qualifications:Familiar with microphones and speaker technology and its application to automotiveExperience with voice processing such as echo, double talk, microphone array processing and beam-formingProficiency with acoustic simulation techniques using FEA (e.g. COMSOL, ANSYS)Education Requirement:BS or MS in Electrical EngineeringSalary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
