If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.The RoleDesign, develop, and enhance cloud-based microservicesDesign implement applications using Golang, C#, and Node.jsDevelop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and KubernetesCreate and maintain Architecture, Design, Troubleshooting, Deployment, Configuration documentsMake key technical decisions and guide engineering visionDevelop frameworks, services, and the necessary tooling to help other engineers build high quality applicationsEvangelize software engineering best practices and lead by exampleCollaborate with other engineers, product owners, and designers to identify and solve challenging problemsQualificationsB.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering6+ years of professional software development experienceProficiency in a major programming language like Golang, C/C++, Python, Ruby, Java, or Scala.Knowledge with Cloud Native Platforms including Kubernetes, Open Shift, Docker, or Cloud Foundry in the public cloudKnowledge with Containers and/or Serverless, Microservices, Functions, Event-driven/reactive programming or other Cloud Native architecturesKnowledge about deploying systems into a production Cloud Native EnvironmentKnowledge with NoSQL data stores such as Cassandra and MongoDBKnowledge of message or event-driven architectures (such as RabbitMQ/Queues or Kafka)Skilled with integrations with various platforms and systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a cross-functional team on high profile, critical projectsExcellence in communication (both written and spoken) with peers and non-technical people alikeExcited about designing, building, and maintaining of distributed systemsDesired SkillsUnderstanding of OCPI and/or OCPP protocols for EV charging stationsUnderstanding of the ISO 15118 protocol between chargers and EVsFamiliarity with principles of residential wiring including wiring codes and regulationsPrevious work with IoT or embedded network connected devicesSalary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
