The Role:- You will lead the product development and technical innovations of smart charging and home energy management technologies, both onboard and offboard the vehicle.- Drive system-level innovations for Smart Energy and EVSE(Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) including V2H(Vehicle to Home), V2G(Vehicle to Grid), and other V2X functionalities.- Play a pivotal role in defining and refining smart energy system architectures, system boundaries, and ensuring seamless system integrations.- Lead and interface with cross-functional teams including engineering, validation and project management to deliver the product in time, serve as the main point of contact with the external partners.- Be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team, working to deliver breakthrough EV energy solutions for a cleaner, smarter future.Qualifications: - 3+ years experience developing Energy product such as Powerwall, Solar inverter, EV (Electric Vehicle) charging, EVSE, V2H, V2G, V2V(Vehicle to Vehicle) or V2L(Vehicle to Load)- Strong knowledge of global regulatory standards relevant to electricity grids and V2X technologies, such as SAE J3072, IEEE 1547, UL 1741, UL 9741, ISO 15118, IEEE 2030.5 etc. .- Deep understanding of electrical grid interactive devices and grid codes, with a focus on grid fault protection and quality improvement- Well-developed team-work and interpersonal skills in a cross-functional environment - analytical thinking to resolve problems and drive successful solutions. - Outstanding communication and presentation skillsSalary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
