In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.Why Join Us?Innovative Projects: KBR’s work is at the forefront of engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT and cybersecurity solutions.Collaborative Environment: Be part of a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and innovation, fostering a supportive and intellectually stimulating workplace.Impactful Work: Your contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense.This is a contingent position based upon contract awardKBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented  Research and Technology Protection Lead to join our team in Bethesda, MD.Responsibilities Include:Formulate and evaluate research initiatives and activitiesConduct security reviewsDevelop Risk Assessment documents that identify security, counter-intelligence, and protection requirementsExperience performing Performer Vulnerability Assessments to include level of foreign ownership/influence, business activities, and financial concernsDevelop and update Export Control Assessments that identify actual deliverables.Required Skills and Experience:Security Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI w/CI PolyMaster’s degree (Information Technology or related field10+ Years working within the ICExperience developing program security guidance documentation (original and derivative)Experience developing abstract complex ideas from data from multiple sourcesExperience interacting with Senior leaders and R&D program managersKnowledge of information system security requirements and proceduresDesiredDoctorate Degree15+ Years experience within the ICAbility to interview R&D managers to build program guidanceDirect experience with technology R&D and emerging technology analysisBasic Compensation:  $136,840.00 - $205,260.00 USD Annual This range is for the Maryland area only The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
