This is a contingent position based upon contract award
KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Research and Technology Protection Analyst to join our team supporting a government client in Maryland.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate research initiatives and activities
Develop Risk Assessment documents that identify security, counter-intelligence, and protection requirements
Conduct Performer Vulnerability Assessments to include level of foreign ownership/influence, business activities, and financial concerns annually
Develop and update the Security Classification Guide for each research effort every six months
Develop and update Export Control Assessment. Reports include considerations of International Traffic in Arms Regulation, Export Administration Regulations, Militarily Critical Technology List, Developing Science & Technology List.
Conduct Program Security Reviews for each research effort.
Qualifications:
Required:
A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with Polygraph
Seven (7) years or more of relevant experience in the IC or DoD
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering or related field
Experience interacting with Senior leaders and R&D program managers
Knowledge of information system security requirements and procedures
Desired:
Master’s degree
Ability to interview R&D managers to build program guidance
Direct experience with technology R&D and emerging technology analysis
Experience with Arms or Export regulations
Experience developing program security guidance documentation
Experience developing abstract complex ideas from data from multiple sources
Basic Compensation:
$106,400 - $159,600
This range is for the Maryland area only. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
