Description
Contract and Standards Review:
- Analyze customer contracts and specifications for compliance with national and international standards (e.g., ASTM, ASME, ANSI, AWS, ISO, DIN).
NQA-1 Program Development and Maintenance:
- Support the expansion of the NQA-1 Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Assist in updating and maintaining NQA-1 manuals, procedures, and quality management systems (QMS).
Audit and Survey Execution:
- Conduct and document NQA-1 audits and Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) surveys for internal projects and supplier sites.
- Issue and manage corrective action reports to ensure resolution and compliance.
Project Quality Assurance:
- Oversee front-end quality review for NQA-1 and QAR (Quality Assurance Requirements) projects.
- Prepare and approve QA documentation to align with project needs.
Supplier and Vendor Oversight:
- Plan and execute supplier audits and CGD surveys.
- Travel to vendor sites as required to assess compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams and customers to meet quality objectives.
- Provide support to the Quality Manager on quality assurance questions, documentation updates, and operational improvements.

Minimum of five years in Quality Engineering, with proven expertise in the field.Physical Requirements:
- Fine Motor Skills: Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
- Sitting & Mobility: Ability to sit for extended periods and move between the office, production floor, and vendor sites for audits.
Visual & Auditory:
Capable of reading documents and using a computer screen effectively. Must be able to hear and communicate clearly on the phone and in person.Cognitive:
Strong skills in comprehension, organization, reasoning, decision-making, communication, and mathematical tasks.
