Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity and make a difference in the world of transportation and logistics! salary: $20 - $23 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates on shipment status. Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction at all times. Order Processing: Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and other stakeholders to schedule pickups, deliveries, and transfers of freight. Process orders accurately and efficiently using proprietary systems and Microsoft Excel. Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation including bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs paperwork. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Tracking and Monitoring: Monitor the movement of shipments in real-time, proactively identifying any potential delays or disruptions. Communicate with clients and internal teams to address issues and implement solutions promptly. Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve logistics-related issues such as shipment discrepancies, transit delays, and service failures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence. Reporting: Generate and analyze reports to track key performance metrics such as on-time delivery, transit times, and customer satisfaction. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and other partners to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation solutions.
