Job Summary: As a member of the Marketing leadership team, the Marketing Communications Manager oversees the team's management of brand design and voice, and the development of content for use in all marketing channels, including website, email, advertising, sales materials, and promotional campaigns. Serves as the lead for marketing communications development. Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives and projects to support the department and/or business unit. Establishes work processes for team members and ensures a high-level customer service is delivered and promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of INTRUST. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Maintains strict standards of confidentiality and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST's Character Qualities.

Essential Functions: All expectations described in the job description's essential functions are necessary to be successful in this role, performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Effectively manage others by consistently applying INTRUST's supervisor and manager expectations: relationship management; feedback; coaching and development; establishing effective work culture expectations; critical thinking; business acumen; and resource management.
• Guide internal and external resources in the development of marketing communications for use in all channels including but not limited to advertising, blog articles, public relations, sales materials, customer communications, social media, and web copy.
• Be a producing member of the communications team by planning, developing, and producing content in a variety of forms while maintaining brand design and voice standards.
• Oversee the company's brand guidelines to ensure consistency in use, appropriate application for varying audiences, and the acceptable evolution of design and voice.
• Bring strategic perspective to our team's collective work through intentional collaboration with marketing colleagues and internal and external partners.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners, marketing colleagues, and vendor partners to anticipate needs, identify opportunities, and thoroughly understand communication objectives.
• Work closely with external vendor partners, including the company's primary marketing agency.
• Adapt communications to improve performance based on feedback and metrics.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with marketing activities and communications.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Advertising required. Minimum of seven years' experience in marketing communications required. Prior supervisory experience required. Experience in the industry preferred. Experience in B2B marketing preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to analyze information from a variety of sources. Collaborative work style. Ability to lead, motivate and develop team members. Excellent relationship building skills. Highly skilled in using technology, including Microsoft 365 and project management software, such as Workfront. Experience with content creation tools from generative AI to videography a plus.

Physical Demands: Extended period(s) of time may be spent viewing a personal computer, sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. The physical demands necessary for this role should be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Working Conditions: Normal office conditions. Some travel required.
