GY Properties, a leading real estate developer and management company in Philadelphia is seeking an accomplished individual to join our team as the Vice President of Finance. With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, we specialize in development/construction, acquisition, and management of multifamily residential properties and condos. ABOUT THE POSITION
As VP of Finance, you will be crucial in shaping our company's financial strategies and operations. Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with him and other executives to provide complex financial analysis and reporting, to ensure the financial health of the organization and smooth operations of all accounting functions.

This position is located in our Philadelphia office, and has the potential for remote work 1-2 days per week.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Strategic management: Manage the financial aspects of acquisitions and sales and participate in debt structuring.
  • Team Development:Lead and cultivate the Accounting and Finance team, facilitating a collaborative and positive work environment for the team, and in conjunction with other departments.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: The VP will be hands-on in overseeing financial reporting tracking and budgeting for multiple entities.
  • Bank and Investor Relations:Maintain strong relationships with lenders and investors.
  • Project Leadership: Directing initiatives related to implementing new processes, procedures, and systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess 10 to 15 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Background in public accounting doing tax or audit; CPA certification highly preferred.
  • Industry experience in real estate acquisitions development and or property management
  • Proven ability in people management, leading and developing teams of five or more.

OTHER NECESSARY SKILLS:
  • Technical skills will include proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with superior Excel skills, as well as experience using property management accounting software such as Entrata, Rent Manager, or Yardi.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills

  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials and objects up to 20 pounds.


WHAT WE OFFER
A competitive salary range of $170,000 to $200,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
