Blair Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinarian to join our practice (part or full time). If you want to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative, team-centric environment, this is a great opportunity for you.

About the hospital:

Our team is comprised of three full-time veterinarians (along with a skilled support staff). We are currently a cat and dog exclusive hospital, but our clientele and team would be delighted to open our doors to exotic species and/or pocket pets if there is an interest in this area. We look forward to mentoring a new graduate or learning from an experienced applicant who is looking to work within a team to care for our patients and clientele. Blair Animal Hospital encourages our team members to learn, develop, and pursue their unique veterinary interests to best serve our patients. Located in beautiful central Pennsylvania, our newly-renovated facility provides exceptional care with these in-house capabilities:
  • 6 exam rooms (3 dedicated feline, 3 dedicated canine)
  • Comfort / Specialty Procedures Exam Room with private entrance
  • Open treatment area with post-operative recovery and in-patient care
  • Dedicated surgical suite with isoflurane anesthesia, up-to-date monitoring equipment, and electrocautery
  • Dedicated dental suite with dual procedure capability and digital radiographs
  • Radiology laboratory with 4-way float table and PIMs-integrated software
  • Comprehensive in-house laboratory / Partnership with IDEXX Reference Laboratory
  • In-House Pharmacy / Partnership with Covetrus Online Pharmacy
  • Photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT)
  • Ultrasound
  • Avimark PIMs software
  • Feline boarding facility with Fear-Free Certified condo-style housing

Skills and Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university. Licensure in good standing to practice in Pennsylvania
