Software Engineer - Computational Geometry

Semiconductor chips are produced with a photolithography process. The Calibre software is used to validate and optimize shapes placed on photomasks and is a critical step in producing advanced products. In this position you will be working on a team which creates sub-resolution assist features.

Responsibilities
• Develop high-quality code (in C++) for the creation of assist-feature shapes
• Create computational geometry utilities and functions

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Good working knowledge of C++
• Ability to work on a team, good problem solving skills

Good to have
• Familiarity with computational lithography
• Experience with GPU coding or other parallel computing
• Experience with MATLAB, Tcl/Tk and other scripting languages (perl, python) is preferred.
• Experience with machine learning a plus.

This position will be subject to U.S. export controlrequirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/orExport Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on eitherverifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary exportlicense.

The salary rangefor this position is $101,200 to $182,200and this role is eligible to earnincentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on thesuccessful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
