The Alexandria VA Medical Center is seeking two full-time, BC/BE, Primary Care Physicians to serve as a member of its Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) Team in Pineville or Lafayette, LA.  Known as the Heart of Louisiana, Cajun & Creole Country is where there are many ways to laissez les bons temps rouler or as we say it let the good times roll. Highlights of this position include:

  • Competitive Starting Salary $210,000 - $235,000
  • Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm. NO CALL
  • As appropriate, complete telehealth visits to augment patient care
  • Potential of up to 25% travel required to Community Based Outpatient Clinic locations
  • Provide care to approximately 12-20 outpatients daily for all facets of acute care
  • Responsible for all facets of acute patient care
  • Will assist in completing quality management reviews.
  • Responsible for the successful achievement of applicable Performance Measure and Monitors his/her areas of responsibility.
  • Incumbent will take an active part in the peer review process and complete Physician's reviews on time

Additional Requirements:

  • Board Certified with Family Practice and/or VA experience preferred
  • Must be computer literate to access and input electronic medical documentation
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
  • Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
