Job Summary:
Analyst, Material Planning and Control
Daher Aerospace of Stuart seeks a driven, detail-oriented supply chain professional to join its team as an Analyst in Material Planning and Control. This role is integral to ensuring that materials and production schedules are effectively managed to maintain a steady, controlled flow of materials and meet production demands. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing production requirements, coordinating material movement, and monitoring the status of materials in the production process. This role requires proactive communication with cross-functional teams to solve material or production-related issues and optimize inventory control.

Job Summary:
Analyst, Material Planning and Control
Daher Aerospace of Stuart seeks a driven, detail-oriented supply chain professional to join its team as an Analyst in Material Planning and Control. This role is integral to ensuring that materials and production schedules are effectively managed to maintain a steady, controlled flow of materials and meet production demands. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing production requirements, coordinating material movement, and monitoring the status of materials in the production process. This role requires proactive communication with cross-functional teams to solve material or production-related issues and optimize inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material and Production Planning: Analyze engineering and production specifications to determine material and component needs, ensuring they align with production schedules.
- Material Coordination: Manage the flow of materials from the warehouse to production areas, ensuring timely availability for ongoing production.
- Status Reporting: Regularly update management on work progress, material availability, and any potential production issues, coordinating efforts to resolve these and maintain operational continuity.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage schedules for equipment and personnel, aligning resources to meet production targets efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Confirm material supply and demand, prepare work orders or purchase requests based on master schedules, shop load, and inventory needs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between departments, including Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Traffic, and Contract Administration, to facilitate efficient operations.
- Expediting and Logistics: Oversee the expedited movement of parts through various logistical actions like move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests.
- Data Analysis: Review inventory usage, scrap, and shrinkage rates, recommending corrective actions to optimize inventory levels.
- Problem Resolution: Support management in resolving issues related to shipments, shortages, engineering changes, or order cancellations.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to identify solutions and establish best practices for improved operational performance.
- Other Duties: Complete additional tasks as assigned by management to support departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years in industrial logistics, with 2-3 years in quality control.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Proficiency in English (reading and writing), exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and strong teamwork orientation.
- Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required.
