About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Investment Officer and Vice President to lead the management of its significant investment portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and recommending an overarching investment policy, asset allocation, and strategy, with a strong emphasis on integrating ESG principles and manager diversity. This role involves overseeing the implementation and ongoing management of the investment strategy, including the selection and oversight of external investment managers. The CIO/VP will also be accountable for maintaining regular engagement with the Investment Committee, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of investment performance, and leading a 17-person investment team in alignment with the company's core values. Applicants for the CIO/VP position at the company should be proven leaders with a minimum of 15 years experience in investing and related fields, including at least 10 years in a leadership, supervisory, and management capacity. The role requires a candidate with a demonstrated track record of producing strong, risk-adjusted returns and managing large portfolios. Unquestioned ethics, integrity, and a commitment to the mission of the company are essential. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree, CFA, or other advanced degrees in a relevant field, and possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. A technical understanding of modern portfolio theory, derivatives, and overlay strategies is also necessary to direct investment capability effectively.
