Learning Well Specialist

The Learning Well Specialist works in partnership with leaders and team members to advance the values-based principles, actions, and behaviors to advance the culture of wellness and help La Clinica meet its mission and vision.

Accountabilities Include:

Performs Essential Job Duties

Data Entry / Management
  • Enters participant tracking data into Relias, including but not limited to certifications, employee status changes and attendance completion. Creating Modules in Relias. Upload specific learning modules for individual employees and employee groups.
  • Answering employee calls regarding La Clinica offered trainings, classes and workshops.
  • Scheduling employees for offerings outside of La Clinica.
  • Ensures accuracy of all data entries through routine reporting to leaders.
  • Works with data analytics and program leaders to ensure data entry systems align with reporting requirements.
RegistrationSupport
  • Answer's participant questions to ensure they can register easily and come fully prepared to events, including but not limited to registration information, logistic, or technology details.
  • Enters, verifies and problem solves any issues with registrations for classes, presentations, or workshops.
  • Supports any 'same day' registration needs for events, including online or in-person registration needs.
  • Ensures accuracy of all registration, record management or documentation requirements.
Venue Coordination
  • Works with program and site managers to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling venues according to space and capacity standards and room set up requirements.
  • Organizes and maintains supply of all complimentary snacks, drinks, and meeting supplies, including drop off and pick up for off-site venues.
Material Management
  • Ensures all necessary participant materials are organized and copied (if necessary), including but not limited to handbooks, handouts, certificates,
  • Ensures presenters are prepared with their own written or online copies of materials and presentations.
Online Event Management
  • Provides back-up management support for events, including but not limited to opening zoom sessions and welcoming participants, providing technology support for participants, and managing the zoom room (sharing music, PowerPoint presentations, video, polls, and breakout rooms)
Customer Service:

Develops and maintains professional, support-oriented working relationships with patients, employees, team members, and community partners.
  • Provides information about services to interested parties.
  • Supports the call center in addressing specific customer service calls and registrations.
  • Builds relationships with participants in order to support their continued path in learning.

Qualifications:

Must be able to interact with a variety of individuals at various levels under stressful circumstances while exercising sound judgement, tact, and diplomacy; work productively both independently and in a team setting; communicate with clarity, both verbally and in writing to groups and individuals.

Must be able to educate staff.

Education and/or Experience:

Required:
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • Skills in data entry and event management.
  • Experience in administration, human development, education, or wellness related programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Skills to intervene and promote reconciliation and positive outcomes in complex or challenging interactions. Preferred:
  • Experience in EPIC, Keap, Relias or other data registration, data management systems.
  • Experience in the development and delivery of complex events.
  • Organizational development background and experience, including project management expertise.
