In collaboration with the Vice-President, Talent and Communications, provide senior-level talent management (TM) support and coaching to leaders and employees globally, for commercial and operational teams. Guide the organization through its evolution and deploy key programs to ensure optimal employee development and engagement.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE
Talent Partner for Commercial and Operations teams:
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing TM guidance by working proactively with managers to support and help them prepare for future business and team needs, including optimal structure, engagement levels and headcount.
- Point of contact for leaders and employees on TM related matters and, in conjunction with the TM team, work at addressing the needs.
- Collaborate with management to align TM strategies with business goals.
- Guide managers and employees through performance management including annual performance goal setting and review processes.
- Address employee relations issues and provide coaching on performance management, employee development, and conflict resolution.
- Support leaders in developing succession plans, individual development plans, and career plans.
Organizational Evolution:
- Lead initiatives to enhance company culture and employee engagement.
- Monitor global TM trends and issues and provide recommendations to further support business growth and innovation.
- Recommend and oversee the development of TM programs.
- Develop and oversee team-building activities and workshops.
Change Management:
- Define change management strategies to support organizational initiatives and projects along with business leaders and project teams
- Design and implement effective communication and training tools that inform, involve, reassure and inspire teams during times of change, using persuasive and diplomatic skills to overcome resistance and foster commitment.
- Monitor the change adoption and make recommendations to maintain and improve it.
Succession Planning, Leadership and Training Development:
- Oversee the succession planning process and maintain up-to-date succession planning tools
- Develop and implement programs and tools to support career development
- Conduct learning needs analysis and recommend leadership development strategies.
- Coordinate external service providers for coaching, leadership development and training.
- Develop and conduct training on TM-related programs and initiatives.
WHAT YOU BRING | THE PERSON
- University degree in work and organizational psychology, industrial relations, or administration, with a major in human resources or any related fields (master's degree in organizational development an asset).
- 10+ years of experience in talent management, HRBP, and organizational development roles.
- Experience in an organization with a global reach is a preferred asset
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, talent management frameworks, and organizational development methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and experience in presenting substantial files to senior management.
- Proven ability to work both independently as well as collaborate with strong credibility with team members across functions and at all levels through an open, engaging, and collaborative style.
- Strong communication skills including the ability to make effective, well-structured presentations in both French / English.
- Member of the Order of certified Human Resources Professionals (CRHA/CRIA) - an asset.
