Human Resources Business Partner
You will play a key role in fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth within our organization. As an essential member of our HR team, you will not only play a crucial role in shaping our talent strategies, but also act as a proactive partner and change agent, both for employees and management. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative HR solutions aligned with business goals, promoting a high-performing and engaged workforce.
• Support employee performance management, including coaching managers and employees, preparing disciplinary letters, ensuring proper application of policies and procedures, etc.
• Use data analysis to provide relevant recommendations and foster informed
decision-making, ensuring HR strategies are data-driven, agile, and aligned with the evolving needs of the business.
• Facilitate training sessions with managers, such as performance management, calibration sessions, change management, and talent identification.
• Collaborate with directors and finance to participate in workforce planning initiatives that anticipate future talent needs, ensuring a seamless alignment of skills and capabilities to drive organizational success.
• Participate in special projects, including planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within established guidelines.
• Promote an inclusive and supportive work environment by designing and implementing programs that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion, thereby enhancing the employee experience.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• CRHA certification is considered an asset.
EXPERIENCE:
• At least 7 years of experience in HR as a generalist or business partner.
• At least 2 years of experience in a unionized environment under federal jurisdiction.
• Proficiency with Human Resource Information Systems (Workday), analysis tools, and spreadsheets (Google Suite).
SKILLS:
• Bilingualism (English/French) is essential as the role will support clients across Canada.
• Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of federal and provincial legislation as well as relevant case law.
• A practical strategic mindset with advanced HR diagnostics and coaching skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders, as well as anticipate and manage change.
• Ability to be creative and understand the broader impact of decisions and actions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience executing multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently while working with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and take the initiative to identify and resolve issues independently.
• Proven change agent, with a learning-oriented attitude toward work and teams. Streamlines processes and fosters quality.
Remote Work (Based in Montreal Area)
