Technical Program / Project Manager

Summary: We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Technical Program / Project Manager that is able to manage multiple programs / projects and drive results. This role is responsible for four separate areas: M&A, Business Continuity, Help Desk tooling and Data Privacy. This role requires that you have the ability to quickly building rapport across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Experience:

• Understanding of infrastructure initiatives.
• Ability to manage M&A initiatives
• Ability to manage Business Continuity projects.
• Ability to strategize on various Help Desk tooling transformation.
• Ability to support Data Privacy initiatives
• PMP, Agile / Scrum Master

Responsibilities:

• Lead execution and delivery of solutions to resolve business problems via strategic thinking and on-the-ground leadership.
• Drive and influence technical strategy, proactively identify problems, align on priorities, and set direction for a broadly cross-functional area.
• Build strong, trusting partnerships to readily mobilize people and influence across a broad range of partners, leaders, and organizations without authority.
• Deliver timely, effective, easily understandable, concise project deliverables including project plans, presentations, budget reviews, cross-project dependencies, risks analyses and mitigation, strategies, stakeholder coordination and status communication.
• Communicate across audiences, effectively understanding and utilizing escalation paths, and updating stakeholders.
• Ability to translate technical rollouts and features to non-technical audiences.
• Handle high volume workloads and provide exceptional customer support.
• Accountable for driving delivery of projects from start to finish.
• Ability to manages external resources; vendors and contractors when required.
• Drive sprints and scrums across various teams where appliable
• Independently manage teams and help groups problem solve.
• Facilitate meetings, discussions and document key decisions made.
• Manage tight deadlines.

Requirements

• BA/BS in business, computer science preferred or other technical field or appropriate work experience 5+ years of applicable experience in a technology environment, preferably for a large company. Demonstrated success in the delivery of multiple projects.
• PMP or CSM Certifications
• Experience managing M&A projects from an IT perspective.
• Experience managing Business Continuity Projects.
• Experience with Help Desk transformations.
• Experience managing Data Privacy projects.
• Ability to work on multiple teams in highly autonomous environments.
• Display a competency in managing multiple projects.
• Project Management expertise and experience.
• Detailed oriented, task master and communicator.
• Aligns and leads project teams to achieve desired business outcomes.
• Manages work with practicality and wisdom in the midst of competing priorities and diverse personalities.
• Ability to influence internal and external team members without direct reporting authority
• Experience with communicating sensitive and impactful changes to a broad technical audience.
• Experience distilling complex technical information and conveying to different types of audiences to enable quick decisioning.
• Strategic thinker with analytical and technology focused problem-solving experience.
• Experience with demonstrating negotiation and conflict management.
• Demonstrated experience with operating autonomously across multiple teams to foster cross-functional working relationships. Includes working with and communicating with multiple partner teams and cross-functional partners.
• Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.
• Results-oriented, high energy, self-motivated.
