What we are looking for: Senior Media Buyer
What you’ll be doing:
This position will provide support to the Media Director and Media Manager in the development of innovative and effective media plans that align with client’s objective. In addition, the Senior Media Buyer is responsible for managing all stages of the buying process from campaign set up through campaign reporting and post analysis.
- Translate media strategies into tactical plans that align with client’s objective
- Strong negotiation skills across TV, Radio and Digital
- Strong knowledge of TV and Radio landscape & terminology
- Develop, negotiate & monitor buys across Radio and TV
- Monitor buys progress, manage makegoods and provides media updates when requested
- Create a strong relationship with media vendors and stay up to date with current offerings
- Contribute to client calls and in person meetings
- Execute media plans per timelines and budgets
- Reconcile media billing across all platforms
- Research, develop and share POV
- Manage campaign reporting and presents insights/performance to clients
- Handled other duties assigned by supervisor
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Texas market
What you’ll bring along:
Experience working in highly collaborative, integrated teams at mid-size advertising agencies
- 4-6 years of media experience working in an agency
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related field
- Detailed Oriented
- Excellent Communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work alone and group
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e., a strong command of pivot tables and creating compelling presentations in PowerPoint)
- Strong work ethic and social skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
