What you’ll be doing:

  • Establish your role as the key person /Agency contact for multiple client contacts.
  • Hands on management of daily activities for several of our key clients/accounts.
  • Play the pivotal role of coordinating between research/strategic planning, creative, amplification and media departments to ensure smooth development and implementation of clients' campaigns.
  • Oversee budget planning, competitive monitoring, research/strategic planning as needed; work with accounts to extract new business and put yourself in the position of their ‘Chief Marketer’ as you conceive of marketing and advertising plans to serve their goals.
  • Provide information for creative strategies and briefs; communicate clients' needs thoroughly and effectively to creatives.
  • Monitor creative effectiveness/quality.
  • Assist in identifying marketing opportunities/needs.
  • Process legal, technical, and plan approvals.
  • Generate ideas for promotion and merchandising programs.
  • Orchestrate media deadlines, legal clearance issues, interactive technology and serving issues, lead media development process and understand media planning/buying across media types and how it interfaces with creative needs.
  • Manage and mentor Account Services staff.
  • Collaborate with Managing Director to see that the team is functioning efficiently and effectively both in the Austin office and across all Sensis offices, including identifying and filling staffing needs.
  • Oversight of all account’s profitability.

What you’ll bring along:

  • Strong client service background and skills required (7+ years in ad agency preferred)
  • Knowledge of creative and expectations of clients
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Category experience in healthcare, higher education, energy/utilities, public transportation, and financial services preferred
  • Aptitude in leading digital campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and project plans
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others and autonomously
  • Motivated with a sense of urgency
  • "Can do" attitude
  • A passion for excellence
  • Ability to balance strong client service ethic with “Company First” thinking
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • High degree of flexibility
  • Proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising or related field
