What we are looking for:
PR- Account Supervisor for growing Amplification Practice that brings public
relations, social media, and content under one practice
What you’ll be doing:
Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced agency environment
Develops and implements strategic public relations programs for clients
Manages team daily; creates good team culture and mentors team members for success
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients; escalate, track, and solve client issues by monitoring and managing all aspects of daily client performance
Understands the impact of social media and influencer engagement for PR efforts; knows how to incorporate these elements into comprehensive PR initiatives
Serve as the liaison between the agency and client to ensure that client goals, budget, and target audience are reached
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media and client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels and have an in-depth knowledge of the industry and client business needs
Manage accounts including fiscal responsibilities (client budget, expense reporting and campaign profits and losses); execute billing practices, including detailed record keeping and follow-up
Attend and facilitate all status meetings, client meetings and client calls; deliver formal and informal presentations to clients as well as internal team members
Display marketing curiosity and a willingness to push your own thinking and the agency’s work in new directions
Acquire in-depth knowledge of each client’s business and industry
Must possess excellent writing and communication skills to be able to effectively explain ideas to clients regarding their PR programs
Assist in the development of all aspects of PR program development
Ensure that client expectations and requirements are clearly understood and maintain overall satisfaction and retention of clients on assigned programs/campaigns
Take ownership of projects, develop and manage budgets, schedules and scope of resources through collaboration with other team members
Prepare thorough, accurate and consistent work to clients reflective of the agency’s quality standards
Strong leadership skills
What you’ll bring along:
Experience working in highly collaborative, integrated teams at mid-size or large PR agencies
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalist, public relations
6+ years of account management and supervisory experience
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Ability to think strategically
Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
Ability to balance revenue, client satisfaction and operational responsibilities while meeting deadlines
Strong interpersonal, customer service, presentation, organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and power point
Bilingual – a plus
