March 24 to April 2nd. Hours are 9a-6p regular and 6p-9a night call. Minimum Board Certification: BC EMR System:Paragon Other Information Types of cases generally treated by physician: Level lll NICU without surgical sub-specialties, Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Pulmonary Hypertension, Pneumothorax, Sepsis, Seizures, Stabilize surgical cases for transport out, VLBW, NAS Work in unit to round and manage daily census. NNP takes the first call at night while Neonatologist is called in with complex patients. Description of environment: NICU has existed here since early 70s, RN staff are very knowledgeable and have strong clinical skills and work great together as a team. RT is also an integral team member supporting conventional ventilators, oscillators, iNO, CPAP, hiflo cannulas. We are working to bring in thermal cooling. Brand new hospital facility as of 2019. Available Equipment: Diagnostics: Full equipment, MRI, CT, EEG What ancillary services or physician specialists are available to support Neonatologist? General pediatrics, Pediatric Neurology, Infectious disease, contracts for consultation with University of Michigan Cardiology and Opthalmology. Also able to reach out to Neonatologists at Mott Children's Hospital, DeVos Children's hosptial or Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Generally Mott comes up to us to pick up infants requiring surgical intervention.
